Exploring Kosi Mouth

There are a variety of exciting activities to do in and around the Kosi mouth beach and lagoon. Take a long walk on unspoilt beaches, snorkel the warm waters and spot some of the Indian ocean’s most spectacular fish. The lagoon also makes for a lovely kayaking experience.

Access to Kosi mouth is achievable with most high rise vehicles, on hard packed gravel roads with concrete strips. Stunning drive next to the lakes and through coastal forests.

This beach has great snorkelling in the estuary mouth. There is also a look out point whereby you can see all 3 lakes, the estuary, and the sea on a clear day. Good option to escape strong north winds.

Permits required, this is a 45 min drive from the lodge.
