TURTLE TOURS - (November-March).
An adventurous night excursion to look for nesting Leatherback and Loggerhead turtles. In November and December, you are likely to see them nesting and laying eggs and from January to March, you have a good chance of seeing hatchling turtles making a dash for the sea in the moonlight. A 4x4 vehicle is required to get to Bhanga Nek, about an hour away from us. Our tour departs at about 17h30 and we meet a local turtle guide at Bhanga Nek for an informative talk, while we wait for dark. Then you set off for a walk along the beach to spot the turtles. Please note that this walk can be tiring for the very old or very young and that we only return to the lodge at about 23h00.

No 4x4? No problem…hop onto one of ours! Kosi Mouth transfers and snorkelling trips, Kosi Bay tours, Ponta do Ouro transfers (off-peak only).
